Romeo & Juliet

"A pair of two loving couples that take their lives away"

By: Javier V.

Breaking news two people were just found in a tombstone dead in Verona City. One of them is a soon to be teenager, her name is Juliet. The other is a soon to be adult, his name is Romeo.
ROMEO’S PROFILE
Romeo is a son of a Montague. The age of Romeo is 18 years old. He is a pretty cool guy. It is said that Romeo was heartbroken by this girl name Rosaline but then he found love again with this 12 year old girl name Juliet. His friends Benvolio, Balthasar and Abram thought that he was changing ever since he met Juliet. He was becoming softer like on that one time when he was going to fight Tybalt (cousin of Juliet).

JULIET’S PROFILE
Juliet a daughter of a Capulet. She is 12 years old. Since she is 12 she acts immature and dumb. It is said that she got married after the day of the Capulet’s party. Once she layed an eye on Romeo they started to mack out and then Romeo proposed to her on that day and they just got married on the next day. Her only closest friend is the Nurse. She thinks of her as a little child who doesn’t know what she’s doing.
Statement from a Capulet
The NURSE says:
"O, I can't believe that my poor little Juliet died. All because it was my fault!!! All because of that boy Romeo!! Waaah haa!!! Why did I let them get married for!! I could've stop all this from the beggining!!!"
Statement from a Montague
The Lord Montague says:
"Dear Romeo o why did you had two die? You were going to take my place as a Lord Montague. I no why. It was all because of that ratcachter Juliet, she had two poison your love. Why didn't you stay with that one girl Rosaline she was freak in fine."
Consequences
The way that I think that the Prince will punish them is that he will make them live together in one household. That will be a punishment because they don't like each other and they will have to share everything together. The bathroom even the same bed. I don't think that anybody will be in a death trail. Just by seeing their sons dead is just good enough, but if anybody starts beef again they will get shanked or shot.

1. Was it OK for George to encourage Lennie to fight Curley? Could there have been another solution? If so, be clear about what that solution might have been. (3-5 sentences: 3 points)

I think yes, so that when George isn't around he can stand up for himself when ever Curley goes up to him again. Then next time he won't be terrified of him. There would've been another solution but with Curley there wasn't. He's always looking for trouble so that's why i think it was good when George encourage Lennie to fight him.

2. It's true that Lennie doesn't TRY to get into trouble, but he always does anyway. Considering this, do you think Lennie should be working at all? Should he be in a special institution away from society? (3-5 sentences: 3 points)

I think he should be working with George because if he goes to a special institution he'll go crazy without being next to George.

3. Curley is a boss like his dad, which is probably why he has to be mean to his workers. Without being aggressive and showing his power, do you think would he still get respect from his workers? (3-5 sentences: 3 points)

It depends how the workers are for an example that if the workers mess around too much then they would be taking advantage to the nice Curley. On the other hand if the workers were always nice and he turns out to be nice then everything will be going out great.

4. In your opinion, do you think it's OK that Curley's Wife flirts with Slim? (3-5 sentences: 3 points)

In my opinion I think that slim should stop flirting with Curley's wife because if he ever gets caught flirting with Curley's wife he might get in a fight with curley. Or if he ever touches her she might make him get kicked out just like they did to George and Lennie.

I Chose Oprah Winfrey as Ralph because she is a leader. She is a caring, powerful, sane, and a smart woman.

I choose Fidel Castro as Jack because he's a control freak just like Jack. He has power but the evil type. He's a vicious man, insane, and mean.

I chose Cartman as Piggy because both of them are fat. They are both annoying, short, scared, and slow(physically).

I chose Patrick star as Simon because he doesn't follow directions. He's also strong and short.

I chose Paris Hilton as Roger because both of them are insane, conceited, and cold-blooded.

I'm choosing alien as a beast because he's actually a beast this thing looks like a beast. Just imagine him in the island with you. You'll be terrified to go out on your own.

I would choose this Caribbean Island as a Island because It looks so cool. The water is crystal clear and it looks like it has a forest so that's kind of cool to be in a hideout or something.
I would change how they get stuck in the island. Like I would say that they were in a cruise and then the ship crashed into something and that they were the survivors.
Another thing that I would change is that Ralph beats up Jack and that Ralph takes over again.
The last thing that I would change is that I would change is the beast. I would actually put a beast and the beast would be the alien on top.
The title that I'll put would be SURVIVAL OF KIDS On A ISLAND BASED ON A TRUE STORY. And the picture of the front cover It will be the hunters and Jack holding Spears and the beast roaring at them.

1. What is your stance on abortion? Give three reasons why (this is your own thoughts). Explain clearly and use a lot of detail. - 5 points

I say that abortion shouldn't be legal. 1ST of all they should have have thought about using condoms or birth control pills.2ND I think that by having a baby they would be more responsible and would be more careful with life.3rd I say that otherwise they have some real illness like cancer or something else then they should abort the baby but, if they don't have any type of disease then they shouldn't abort the baby.4Th don't you just feel sorry for the baby. What if that baby would be a good like having a successful life like probably becoming a doctor that will find the cure of cancer. Then you'll be proud of your son.

For the next tasks, you need to look through BBC - Abortion

2. Copy/paste evidence that supports that supports your views. Make sure you use quotation marks (" ") because these are NOT your words. - 3 points

"Some people think that abortion is always wrong."

3. Explain the quote you chose for number 2 in your own words. You can explain it in the following ways: relate it to something that happened in your life or someone else, explain why you agree with the statement, explain it to the reader with more detail in case the reader might not understand the quote, or give the reader a hypothetical situation in which the quote plays out. (Whichever why you decide to explain your quote, you should have at least 3 sentences to be thorough) - 6 points

On the quote for number 2 it says"Some people think that abortion is always wrong."That means that abortion wrong. It is wrong because don't you feel sorry for the baby. It won't even have a life to live. Instead of making a baby die why won't you just take birth control pills or use both type of condoms.
Extra credit:
4. Repeat step 2 with a new quote
"Some think that abortion is right when the mother's life is at risk."
5. Repeat step 3 to explain the new quote
Now only when the mother has a really powerful disease like cancer etc. then they should abort the baby because if the baby ever gets to grow it will die later on because it will have the same cancered blood of your mother then eventually it will die and then your parents will be sad and you won't want to see that especially when you are in the hospital and you have cancer as well as your mother.
